The vivid colours of the cover and section divisions contrast with the monochrome designs of Pavel Brázda, an exponent of art about and for people. He is also one of the leading self-taught painters in the Czech art scene. Divided into 19 chapters, the book features a collection of three hundred drawings of various formats, from the period when the artist worked as a stoker before the Velvet Revolution. The formally arranged visual anecdotes are unified by being shown on a colour underprint and by the tragicomic tone of their content.
